- Session cookies for edition selection, security tokens, and administrator authentication
- Correction proposals, reasons, evidence URLs, reviews, and guide content submitted by users
- A keyed one-way identifier derived from IP and browser information to prevent duplicate or abusive submissions
Purposes
- Service delivery, diagnostics, and security
- Per-page submission limits and prevention of duplicate or abusive use
- Review, publication, reporting, and change history for user content
- Privacy, legal, and rights-related requests
External processing service
Proposal text, reasons, and limited related source context may be sent to the Gemini API when correction proposals are checked. IP addresses and one-way identifiers are not sent.
Advertising and cookies
If advertising is later provided through Google AdSense, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads. Google may serve ads based on prior visits, and users can manage personalized advertising in Google ad settings.
A consent-management process will be added before advertising in regions where separate consent is required by law. This policy will be updated if active ad settings or participating vendors change.
Retention and deletion
Submissions and related identifiers may be retained as needed for duplicate detection, change history, and rollback. Server security records are retained as needed for investigation and then deleted. Information without a legal retention requirement is deleted when its purpose ends or the service closes.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information related to your submission by email. Minimal information may be required to verify the requester.
Cookie controls
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Edition persistence, correction proposals, and some other features may then stop working correctly.
Policy changes
The effective date and policy will be updated when processed information or external services change.
